Review: Sleek i-Divine Palettes in Vintage Romance & Oh So Special

Heyy guys!
So, this is short review on 2 new Sleek Palettes I got recently and 2 Sleek Blushes!
My only other Sleek eyeshadow experience I had was years ago when I bought the Sleek Acid palette!
While its a really cool palette I don't find myself picking it up a lot ha

However, I saw these palettes a lot on Youtube and people I know have them, so I was really intrigued!

The first one I got was the Vintage Romance palette.
I saw a couple of looks a girl I worked with done using this and I just thought they were soo pretty I had to try them out for myself!
From top left to right: Pretty in Paris, Meet in Madrid, Court in Cannes, Lust in LA, Romance in Rome, Propose in Prague
From bottom left to right: Vow in Venice, Marry in Monte Carlo, Honeymoon in Hollywood, Bliss in Barcelona, Forever in Florence, Love in London

The second one I got is the Oh So Special palette!
I first saw this used on Youtube by Emma Pickles (who is just amazingly talented btw!) and I just thought it was soooo pretty and looked like a really soft girly palette!
From top left to right:  Bow, Organza, Ribbon, Gift Basket, Glitz, Celebrate
From bottom left to right: Pamper, Gateau, The Mail, Boxed, Wrapped Up, Noir
Okay  FIRST off, all these swatches were done on BARE SKIN WITH NO PRIMER! Look at that colour pay-off!! These palettes only cost 10euro! That is crazy good! I genuinely think these palettes are better quality than the Naked 3 and that cost me 44euro!

Another thing I noticed right off the bat was the shadows feel really smooth and soft when you touch them! They apply so smooth and they blend really nicely too!
I haven't had any chance to do any proper looks with these yet, but I am DYING to get creative with them!

As for packaging, the palettes are nice and sturdy plastic material! Their really thin so they don't take up a whole lot of space! Nice sleek (haha Sleek get it? :P) black finish!  Really like the design overall :)

Time for the verdict!

HOW MUCH WOULD I LUST AFTER THIS PRODUCT?
4/5 !!
These palettes are FANTASTIC! The only reason they lost a point, on the eyes they do need a good base just for longevity. But nothing major, SPECIALLY since their only 10euro!
So everyone, I hope you enjoyed this review & definitely expect to see these bad boys in the future!

Talk to you all soon!

My Favourite Hair Care Products! (For Bleached Blonde/White Hair)

Heyy guys!
So, one of the main questions I get asked both online and on a daily basis is:

How do I keep my hair looking healthy, even though its so heavily bleached?!

I use a good few different products for my hair, including a range of shampoos, conditioners and treatments!
In this post, I am gonna show you the main products I use that I have found to be really helpful and effective on my hair :)

Shampoos:
I don't really focus TOO MUCH on shampoos, as I believe shampoos are just for cleaning your hair rather than treating it! BUT there is some shampoos I prefer over others.

Dove Intense Damage Repair Shampoo - This shampoo is really good for a good clean, leaves your hair feeling really cleansed and means you have a good start for the rest of the product you'll use on your hair! It also helps if you have a lot of split ends and notice breakage, which happens A LOT in bleached hair!!

Touch of Silver Twice A Week Brightening Shampoo - I use this every second time I was my hair! Its amazing if you have platinum/white/grey hair! It helps to tone down any brassiness and keeps your hair nice and bright! It is quite strong and its BRIGHT PURPLE in colour so don't leave it on the hair for too long or it will start to colour it slightly! There is a daily version of this which isn't as strong, BUT I didn't find it useful at all.

Conditioners:
I have tried SO MANY different conditioners as I feel their the most important in maintaining a good hair care routine! Both my favourite conditioners are by the same company, sorry if thats annoying, but they are the BEST that I've found on the market for my hair!

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Luscious Long Deep Treatment - This is the BEST conditioner if you want QUICK results! As soon as I wash this out of my hair I can feel the smoothness left behind! Its amazing! It also smells soo fresh! I use this every time I wash my hair!

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Reconstructor Deep Treatment - This is a great one for deep treatments! I use this when I want to do a long treatment! I put it all over my hair, lather it and then wrap my hair in clingfilm and  leave it on for an hour if not more! My hair comes out feeling AMAZING!
The 3 minutes however, does nothing! It needs longer to work or you won't notice a difference!

  Extra Treatments:
These are things I would use after I get out of the shower or in between washes!

Moroccan Oil - This is great for adding shine to your hair! If your hair is feeling particularly dry this will give it a little boost and add a super pretty shine! However, DO NOT put this up near your roots as it will just end up making your hair look greasy  and no one wants that! I usually use this after straightening my hair, as the flat irons dry it out!

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-In Conditioner - If I run out of any of my good conditioners and have to use a generic one, I always apply a GOOD amount of this after to compensate! Or if my hair has been particularly unruly or tangled as this helps to ease the pain of brushing out bad tangles!

Batiste Dry Shampoo for Blondes - Last, but definitely NOT least! Obviously, this isn't a treatment, but it does mean I don't have to wash my hair as OFTEN which in turn is good for my hair! The less you wash your hair, the more oil the hair retains and the less dry it becomes!

These are all the products I use on a frequent basis to care for my hair!
I always get my hair bleached professionally to avoid damage and I try to leave as much of a gap between bleaches as possible to avoid even more damage!

I hope this was helpful to you all & I'll talk to you soon!

Glossybox: November Edition!

Heyy guys!
So my November Glossybox arrived last week! I've been testing out the products the last few days and I decided to tell you what I think!
I wasn't super impressed with the October box.. I was pretty bummed with it so I was a little worried this month's wouldn't be that good.. I was PLEASANTLY surprised!
I'm absolutely loving this month's box!

Vichy Idealia Life Serum: This was the first product that caught my eye! Very cute little packaging and nicely presented! However, they are VERY small. I received 3 mini samples of 3ml so altogether you go 9ml of product! This is a serum you put on before makeup that works as a smoothing & illuminating primer! It is very nice on the skin, very smooth and hasn't got a heavy, thick consistency! I didn't really notice any "illuminating" properties, but still a nice product!

Yves Rocher Collection Cacao: Cacao & Orange Hand Cream: Now I work as a makeup artist, so I am constantly using my hands!! My hands do get a little dry, but I don't have any severe cracked skin or anything major. So this hand cream appealed to me. It's just moisturizing & has an absolutely DIVINE smell!!! Oh my gosh, it smells like Terri's Chocolate Orange (one of my favourite kinds of chocolate!).
I've been carrying this around with me everyday !

Scholl Dry Skin Exfoliator: So this is one of those products that I would be kinda embarrassed to buy in the shops, which is silly I know, but I have a phobia of feet so I'm a little creeped out by products for feet haha! This is an exfoliator for rough skin on the soles of your feet. I find girls notice this more so than men, because woman wear heels etc which can cause the rough skin. I also work at a job where I stand all day so that doesn't help! So I was curious to see if this works! It says you have to use it 2-3 times a week! I have used it twice now and I don't notice a whole lot of difference, but my feet are particularly rough so I will keep using it and see if that changes :)

B.Smokey/ Soft, Blendable Kohl Eyeliner: So this is a 'black' pencil with a smudger on the end of it, however it comes out alittle more grey. It is quite a nice pencil! Nice texture, very smooth, nice colour pay-off, however its grey so I don't think I'll use it myself very much. Also I generally use gel liner now as its waterproof and doesn't need much topping up.

Emite Make Up Micronized Eyeshadow (Dams): This eyeshadow sounds so impressive with that nice doesn't it?!?!?! hahaha Well it is quite nice! It's a matte black eyeshadow, it is SILKY smooth ! Honestly, it is like velvet when you touch it! Basically the purpose of this eyeshadow is that it has NO FALL OUT! And I gotta hand it to Emite Makeup, I really didn't notice any fall out when using this! So it definitely does work in that respect. However, it retails at £16.80 (Euro price not given)!! No way would I pay that much for this small eyeshadow.

So everyone that's the November Glossybox!! Like I said I'm super impressed with this month's box, definitely a massive step up from last month's edition!! If any of you are interested in signing up to Glossybox or want more info feel free to check out there website here  http://www.glossybox.co.uk/

That's all from me today, but I'll talk to you soon!

Halloween Themed Haul! & My Halloween Decorations!

Heyy guys!
So, I went and did a little shopping this week and a lot of it was Halloween themed items I bought!!
I also decorated my bedroom with my own Halloween decorations!
I thought I'd share with you all the items I bought & how I decorate my box room for Halloween!

The first thing I bought was this ADORABLE Mickey Mouse skeleton t-shirt from Pennys for 8euro!
I feel like Pennys (or Primark as it's known in the UK) has really stepped up its game recently with their items. Their prices have gone up alittle bit to match this, but their still quite affordable compared to most highstreet stores :)

These super cute Bat shaped earrings I got from Forever21 for 4.50euro!
I loved these!! I love anything with bat motifs and I have 4 ear piercings, so I'm CONSTANTLY buying studded earrings! These were a great lil find for me :)

Of course, I had to stop by Inglot since I work for them now haha!
I wanted to pick up some new eyeshadows, so I bought 5 new eyeshadows and a new 10 palette (I now have 2 full 10 palettes & a full 5 palette!)

Swatches: (From left to right)
#327, #452, #14, #72, #362

I'm absolutely LOVING #452 atm! Those gorgeous burgundy red colours are really popular right now not just in eyeshadows, but in lip colours as well! A 5 square palette at Inglot costs 36euro! :)

I have a very big sweet tooth and I couldn't resist this chocolate ghost trick or treater lollipop!
It was DELISH! This was 1.50euro in the chocolate shop upstairs in Jervis !
Great if your looking for some cute treats for trick or treaters this year!

The first of my Halloween decorations were these little spooky tealight candle holders!
These were only 2euro in Dealz! Dealz is a "pound shop" in Dublin and it always has FAB cheap items! These were one of those great finds for me!

This is a close up of some Halloween tinsel I bought also in Dealz for 1.49euro! BARGAIN!
It is a mix of black and white tinsel with white skulls scattered throughout! Its a great decorations for your windows! Simple and eye catching in my opinion!

So this is my window decorations!
The Jack and Sally dolls I've had for years, they were bought in Disneyland Florida!
The Billy doll is from the movie SAW. It was a Limited Edition Living Dead Doll bought in Thorpe Park, London! And the hanging ghost pumpkin was bought YEARS AND YEARS ago in a Halloween store in America :)

So, I hope you all enjoyed my little Halloween themed haul and my little decorations!
Halloween is my favourite time of the year and I always try my best to celebrate it properly :)

Have a great Halloween guys !
& I'll talk to you soon!
